The very crucial thing to consider is the fact that whenever we have a goal, we get so focused on achieving that one and we tend to forget to stop and ask ourselves if it is worth it. This happens all the time in marriages. When the other feels that the marriage is on the rocks, he or she will do anything to save it. He or she then gets so into it and will never stop but along the way he or she also forgets to weigh if the marriage should really be saved.

I have an example of friend who is a very good wife and mother. But her husband is an alcoholic. He refuses to admit that he has a problem and get any help.
